Jc life is tiring, I kid you not. My eyes always feel like closing, I'm always yawning, I always feel zonked & my eyebags never get any better. TGIF!!!

Went back to ij to sell fun o rama coupons yesterday! Motive: to go back to ij and see everyone. The wrong motive was probably why I didn't manage to sell any coupons. But I did get a $10 donation from Mrs Alex hee. Talking to Mr Teh and Tan Poh Yoke made me feel like crying. Mr Chan highly pissed me off because he chased us away when he saw that we were in AC uniform (He just waved us off and told us to go away when we ran towards him and excitedly shouted his name eh, wts. But i guess his reaction was expected since he's anti-ac & he's Mr Chan sigh). Didn't get to talk to Mrs Tan cos she was teaching. Talked to Ms Puja and found out that her nephew is Yustynn (my classmate with eyelashes like a girl; small world much)!!! Ate from Chinese Wok, I miss that stall to bits, along with the Malay stall. Got my yearbook, met some juniors. It felt really good going back to ij, like I was going home after being away for months. It didn't even feel awkward being in ac uniform and no longer being an ij student. I guess I'll always be an ij girl at heart :) some teachers' comments about ac made me feel a tad sad but i guess they were completely expected as well, what with it being methodist. Within my few days in ac, i realised already that the hostilities between cj & ac, sji & acs were quite strong. Why the animosity? I vote for peace! :(

Anyway it's Founders' Day on Monday! Thanksgiving service in school followed by a party with 1SD4, I'm excited! :)

It's the ending of a really awesome school week. Next week, tutorials start and school is gonna kinda suck :( I'm starting to really love my class; I found people who listen to good music! AWESOME STUFF OMG. I now have people to go for concerts with tee hee. Maxine said that everytime she sees me, I look like I'm having fun! So dang, I'd really hate it if we all have different breaks and hang out less together since everyone in class takes different combis :(

The IJ girls in AC are going back to IJ on thursday to sell fun-o-rama tickets!!! I am so freaking excited to go back to IJ!!! Of course there won't be our friends, just the juniors around :( But the teachers! Aaaaah I miss Mr Chan & Mr Teh (I got reminded of them both today when I crashed physics lecture)! Mr Chan is gonna hate us like how he hates AC :( Anyway I can't wait to go back to IJ (my first time as an outsider!), eat IJ food, collect the 2009 yearbook, drink a smoothie from the back-gate-stall. And I hope we manage to sell tickets eh, $200 worth of tickets is no joke.

Anyway, I'm now in a cca dilemma. Also, RIP Brandon Flowers' mum.

Happy Chinese New Year guys! I love Chinese New Year breaks! A break from school, not having to wake up at unearthly hours, being able to laze around the house, not having to do anything. Of course there's also the food. This year though, I am sick with a capital s! Which sucks because I can't enjoy my break properly, because I can't eat CNY food as much as I would like, because it generally sucks to be sick like this. Not a good start to the new year!

In other news, jc sucks. I don't like lectures, especially for Maths and Chem because they're boring stuff and I can't bring myself to pay attention. I haven't had tutorials yet, but I'm really hoping they'd be a million times more productive than lectures. I don't like the way things work in jc, because I'm pretty dependent on people; with the jc system - you have to be independent. I don't like how no one else in my class takes the same combi as me because like I said, I'm pretty dependent on people - for notes, reminders, to bring me around the school since I still don't know my way. I don't like the long hours and having to wake up early, because I'm so bloody drained each day.

All of that makes me wonder how people can just transform into adults. I'm scared of turning into an adult with responsiblities and huge decisions to make :/

Got our classes today! My class is technically a science class ack :/ Everyone takes different subject combinations - how to be bonded like that? :( There are only 4 boys (My mum went "How to get boyfriend like that?!"), and about 18 girls? I found Catholics! :) And my homeroom is all the way up on the 6th floor, wts.

In other school news, chapel (which is every Monday) reminds me of Praise & Worship sessions (in IJ/church)! AC has too much eyecandy that no one stands out anymore. But I found a permanent (but not a very big) crush! He's not that hot but he's vvvv cute! Lectures are boring shit most of the time, and I can't follow everything :/ I'm scared shitless for PE; AC requires at least silver for PFT otherwise you attend PE remedial wts. After attending today's graphic calculator workshop, I still have no freaking idea how to use it; which really sucks since I paid $145 for it. Also, I'm in Oldham House!!! I was so happy when I found out I was in Oldham because 6 out of 8 houses are named after weird Chinese people, and I really wanted an English-named house heh.

Oh yes, Boss called me up to persuade me to join the shooting team :(:(:(:( It'll be harder if I had to turn Coach Ho down, but turning Boss down is still :S I haven't really decided on CCAs yet though, and shooting WILL look good on my records. If I decide to join shooting and hafta compete with Daphne Tay (who signed up for CJ shooting HAHA), I will laugh my ass off.

I hope I learn my way around school soon. I hope my class starts bonding and hanging out more soon. I hope I find an awesome cca with awesome people. And I hope Maxine & I can still take part in OM even though we missed the trials. I'm pretty set on being enthu and active in school stuff (not including sports activities of course), hee.

I'm officially seventeen and I'm officially a J1 student in ACJC. I feel old dammit :/ But no, I won't go into how I'm scared to death of growing up and gaining more responsibilities that come along with becoming an (young) adult. Instead I'll blog about my birthday and other experiences in AC so far :)

First up, thank you to the IJ girls in AC (Nianci, Court, Sulin, Maxine, Rui Ann) for bursting into the birthday song & surprising me with donuts, in what was a slightly embarrassing & awkward moment in the crowded canteen. Heh heh heh. Thank you also, to the rest of the IJ girls who wished me via text or fb. I love my IJ friends <3 & thanks to my awesome OG (Pani ftw!, even though probably none of you read my blog), for the chocolate cake & the less embarrassing moment in the Holland V market (HAHA) during the OG lunch.

The birthday sucked, since school lasted from 7.25am - 10pm, what with it being the last day of orientation. But the campfire (which didn't have a real fire :/) and the friends made up for it :)

So orientation's ended (Mass rallies are the awesomest thing ever, btw) and school starts on monday, proper. I'm scared to find out my class, to start tutorials & lectures, to go around school because I still don't know my way around. But it's also kinda exciting because it feels like a brand new adventure hee hee. Oh yeah, I chose my subjects at the last minute - Maths, History, Lit, H1 Chem. I think I might regret choosing Chem over Econs but I really hope I don't!!! Econs was starting to sound a little interesting but then Chem just makes it safe, or at least seems safe because my sciences are technically better than my humanities. But I literally chose my subjects at the last minute, right when subject registration was about to end, and it scares me that I can't make decisions :/ Next big decision: CCA omg :(
